Project Overview

Spring Dental Practice is a family-friendly dental clinic based in Hull, East Yorkshire, providing a range of general, cosmetic, and restorative dental treatments. The goal of this project was to create a professional, welcoming, and user-friendly website that communicates the practice’s services, builds patient confidence, and makes it easier for visitors to take the next step towards booking an appointment.

I designed and developed the website with a focus on clear communication, accessible navigation, and a polished digital experience that reflects the practice’s commitment to patient care.

The Challenge

Dental websites need to do more than list treatments. They must establish trust, make information easy to find, and help patients feel comfortable contacting the practice.

The key priorities for this project were to:

Present the practice and its dental services clearly.
Make appointment booking and emergency contact options easy to find.
Organise a wide range of treatments into an accessible structure.
Communicate professionalism while maintaining a friendly, family-oriented feel.
Help prospective patients find relevant information before contacting the practice.

My Approach

I approached the project by combining visual design, structured content, and practical functionality to create a website that serves both the practice and its patients.

User-focused design: I structured the pages to help visitors navigate the website, explore treatments, and find important information without unnecessary complexity.

Visual consistency: I developed a cohesive design that balances professional healthcare presentation with a welcoming atmosphere.

Clear calls to action: I incorporated prominent appointment and emergency contact options to make important next steps easier for visitors to identify.

Service-focused content: I organised treatment information into dedicated sections so visitors can explore relevant services, including Invisalign, dental implants, teeth whitening, dental hygiene, and composite bonding.

Responsive experience: I focused on creating a website experience suitable for visitors using desktop computers, tablets, and mobile devices.

I was responsible for the website design and development, with a focus on the overall user experience, page structure, service presentation, navigation, and key patient enquiry pathways.

The Outcome

The result is a comprehensive website that brings the practice’s services, patient information, reviews, and appointment pathways together in one place.

The website gives Spring Dental Practice a professional online presence, makes its range of treatments easier to explore, and provides visitors with clear ways to contact the practice and request appointments.

The project demonstrates my ability to translate a healthcare business’s needs into a practical digital solution that combines design, usability, content structure, and functionality.
